I earned a Master of Arts in Learning Design and Technology with an emphasis on eLearning and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis on Photography at University of Colorado Denver. I have a passion for learning and supporting others in their learning journeys. My background includes training Colorado state driver license office employees, leading the scheduling department of a cable and satellite television company, and holding various quality assurance, sales, and marketing positions.

Pursuing this MA-LDT degree was a natural progression in my career path. As a Learning Experience Designer, I combine the graphic skills learned during my undergraduate education for good design creation with my experience as a trainer and an executive-level manager for providing good communication skills with SMEs and stakeholders alike.

I believe in the importance of life-long learning, active curiosity, social justice, healthy skepticism, and evidence-based communication. I strongly believe, in the digital age, it is important to teach learners how to be internet savvy, determine fact from fiction, avoid spreading false narratives, and that our actions have consequences.
